I came in wanting to try the stew fish but since that wasn't available I went to another favorite. When I opened my container I thought that it wasn't a lot of food but by time I finished it was more than enough. When I tell you that salt fish and Ackee was bursting with flavor, literally it goes right in 'the best I've ever had' category.' Same for the Callaloo. And the ground food was on that melt in your mouth tip . The festival was so absolutely delicious, that I had to fight the fat girl in me not to get some to go. Just delightful dining on a chill Sunday Afternoon. Definitely will be back.

So far my favorite beef patties in LA. Born to Jamaican parents, raised in NYC and grew up eating great patties...so now in Palm Springs. I've been on a mission to try them all. I'm hooked on the flaky perfect crust, the kind that will mess up your car but that's good and filled nicely with flavorful meat that's not filled with breading. The real deal. I was less impressed with the jerk chicken unfortunately- tasted like baked chicken with jerk sauce tossed on. I missed that authentic wood fired smoky flavor.

The food is amazing. The portions are huge and the oxtails are fall off the bone tender. The cabbage was seasoned well and the plantain is so sweet. Best Jamaican food ever.

Looking from the outside this place is a bit sketchy. I'm not going to lie I was nervous about getting out. The service was good and the food was very authentic. The jerk chicken was a little spicy for me but very good. You know it was spicy, if I said it was spicy, because I love me some spicy food.

Buddy and I came here on our trip to SoFi stadium. We both enjoyed it so much we made it a two day lunch spot. Even with an event going on at SoFi we had issue issues with parking or wait time. There was a couple folks inside or taking orders to go but never felt crammed. My only issue inside would be that it felt too warm for me personally. The first day we just got the meat pies. One of each and both loved them. I personally enjoyed the little spice of the beef one more than the more curry kind of flavor from the chicken. But I ordered both on day two so both are def good! I also ordered some plantains and festival. I've had festival once in Jamaica and loved it, the places I've been to sense then have not been the same. Lees was hands down the closest. I'd order all of this again if I make my way back to them/SoFi stadium. The price was four meat pies, plantains, festival and two waters and a little tip was under $30 which felt like a solid amount of food for the price. Only improvements I'd say would make it better would be a cooler/less stuffy dining area.
